is Sunday September 9th in the United States. Dr. John Killinger is an alienated dad of an adult son and is also alienated from his four grandchildren. Here is what he says about his situation. "I think I’d have made a good grandparent. I have four grandchildren. Three are girls and one is a boy. They range in age from 7 to 15. From what I hear, they’re all smart and beautiful. The only problem is, I don’t get to see them. I can’t accompany them to school at the beginning of term, I can’t take them to movies, I can’t give them Christmas presents, I can’t be there on their birthdays. To them, I suppose, it’s as if I don’t really exist. So what should I do? Should I send hateful emails to their parents? Waylay the kids on their way home from school? Go to court to sue for the right to see them? I’ll will be speaking on what I do to deal with the absentee grandparent problem. “
